09 Aug Exploring the Nearby Legacy Flight Museum
The brainchild of John Bagley of Rexburg, the Legacy Flight Museum is a must-see for any aircraft enthusiast.
Founded in 2006, the museum provides guests with the opportunity to see several aircraft that United States Military Veterans flew while serving our country. Even better, as a fully operational hanger, all of the planes at the museum are maintained to remain airworthy. Therefore, they can often be seen flying throughout the city of Rexburg.
If you are interested in visiting the Legacy Flight Museum, you will be happy to learn that it is located just 7 miles away from Snake River Hideout.
As such, the park serves as the perfect starting point for planning a visit to the museum, which is open on Saturdays from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm from Labor Day through Memorial Day and then open six days per week from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and college students, $5 for military and Veterans, $3 for children ages 8 through 17 with a paying adult and free for children under 8.
The Legacy Flight Museum is also available as a venue for parties, reunions and other events. With Snake River Hideout located nearby, you and your guests have the perfect lodging opportunity to go along with your big event! Contact us today to learn more about our park and facilities.
