05 Nov Creating a Bonding Family Experience at the Teton Vu Drive-In
Offering a little taste of nostalgia along with great ticket prices and a tasty menu, the Teton Vu Drive-In is someplace that you will certainly want to visit while staying at the Snake River Hideout. Opened in June 1950, the seasonal drive-in theater has a capacity of 350 cars and gives you the opportunity view two movies with the price of just one ticket.
To add to the fun and the experience, Teton Vu Drive-In allows guests to arrive early in order to find the perfect spot of watching the movie. Once your spot is selected, you are free to get out and toss around a Frisbee or football to help pass the time and enjoy some great family time. The venue itself recommends arriving at least one hour before showtime, but the gates are typically opened two hours ahead of time on the weekend.
To help cut down on your food costs, the theater does allow outside food and drinks. You will, however, have to purchase a food permit at the cost of $2 per adult. The permit can be redeemed for a food item inside the diner, which includes burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, hot wings, nachos, shakes and more. Just 10 miles away from the Snake River Hideout, the Teton Vu Drive-In is sure to be a hit with everyone in your family!
